This is direct from 1998 to your very own web browser. The intense flash. The background images. The text animations. Hey this guy just learnt flash and sold it to this poor client as the latest and greatest. Unfortunately now the website looks like a dogs breakfast.
This company is certainly very innovative in their adaption of new technologies. They have 2 blogs going. http://www.eurovision1.com/blog2/ this one has recent posts in it. This is because the domain name is so strong and people are coming in because of the Eurovision event happening now. They are typing www.eurovision.com. Thats how I found the website!
Hey great adaption of technology but unlucky on the followup. If they transitioned this website into a website about Eurovision and changed the name of the blogs and forums you would have 1 great website with lots of traffic. Id sell the media space and put some Google Adsense on it and you would have a great little revenue stream. Then I would build it up big enough and make some content partnerships with other companies and bang you have yourself a portal for Eurovision.
